Welcome to my site!
I am an artist and stone carver based in
Westport, New Zealand. The West Coast,
or Te Tai Poutini, lies between the Southern Alps and the Tasman Sea and is the geological and
spiritual home of pounamu - New Zealand nephrite jade.
I specialise in original contemporary works in a variety of materials - stone, jade, glass and shell - with a strong focus on
utilising resources gathered from local beaches.
My designs are inspired by the raw energy of the Coast itself and a range of traditional and contemporary influences.
